The museum provides barrier-free access for visitors with reduced mobility via a dedicated side entrance at Burgring 5. Upon arrival, visitor services staff will assist you and escort you to an elevator. All exhibition rooms, the café, shop, and restrooms are accessible via two elevators. There are five accessible restrooms located throughout the building.

Wheelchairs are available for loan free of charge. It is recommended to reserve one a day in advance by contacting the museum directly.
There are five public handicapped parking spaces available at the nearby Heldenplatz.
A reduced admission price applies to visitors with disabilities and one accompanying person.
The museum offers special guided tours for visitors with disabilities upon request, including tactile tours and tours in simple language.
